i have a 73 std.
the floor pans are in good shape (1 small hole i will just have welded - then just POR-15 the pans).
the problem is that there is a fairly large hole where the left rear corner of the floor pan meets the body. this hole is in the body not the pan. i was wondering how i could go about fixing this hole. i was thinking of either glassing the hole in or welding a patch panel in place here.
im not looking for a show quality job just a solid repair. and please dont tell me to find another body as other than this hole the body of my bug is in good shape (no other rust holes on the main part of the body - planning on replacing the fenders)
