Unbolt the door handles from the outside. Fill in the holes with metal. Done. Easy. If you want to take out the door bump for the handle, cut out that area and weld in a smooth piece of sheet metal.
But if you want remote door openers, etc that takes a little more time. Depends on what route you want to go. The opening mechanism is opened by cables so you just have to attach cables to the new latch mechanis (remote door popper or electronic remote opener). How hard is it to do this part, depends on what kind of setup you go with and how good you are with problem solving. IMO for me it should be a day job or so.

Yeah, doors are cheap, buy a used one for $20 and call it done. I'm about to put handles on mine (came sshaved but no remote opener, only inside handles
). But I'll be using different door handles. Just drill holes and attach the door handles and attach all the internal mechanism together. If you want the finger hump you'll need to find a donor and weld in that section back up. But you'll need donor doors for that so you may as well swap the entire door. Sell your shaved doors to get your money back from the newly bought used doors.
