New Beetle Taillights install

I've seen a few pics of "Classic" Beetles that have "New" Beetle taillights installed on wide fiberglass fenders. I have been considering doing this to my Beetle, but can't find any info on how to go about doing this. Does anyone know of any links where I can find more info on how this is done?
