Low Bugget?
So is the Low Bugget turbo kit the best to get? I'm trying to choose a kit right now and it sounds like that's the best one. Is it?

I don't have his kit but here's my opinion....
Best depends on your individual needs/wants. AJ has a strong reputation in the VW community. I've only been on the VW scene for a couple years but I've never read anything negative about LowBugget products and AJ gives out a ton of free advice over at the CLF. The best thing you can do is call him and see how he makes you feel about his product and support, then call your second choice and see if they sound like they will back up their product. Something like this, its all about the service AFTER the sale.

I have a kit on order and should be getting it in a week or so. Since I have ordered the kit I have been doing some research on other kits; The Low Bugget kit is more complete and more professionaly put together than any other bolt on kit. He really doesn't leave anything out.
But more impressive than the kit is his service.... PERIOD!
AJ is a true gentleman and will help anyone seaking it. I have never spoken to another person that enjoyed their work and their hobby more than him. Speak to him once and it becomes very clear that there is a huge amount of talent but even more pride in his work.
If you deal with him do so in confidence and don't look back.

I too have spoken to AJ regaurding the 1600T kit for my 1776cc. The kit is indeed the most complete and most detailed package available for the money. Right down the O2 fitting in the exhaust and the ceramic coated pipes!
AJ Sims is a very cool guy on the phone and seems very knowledgeable. I too will have an AJ Sims Turbo kit under my lid really soon.
