I believe the person looking for volkaro info was on volksrod (I could be wrong). He just scored a great deal on a buggy and the volkaro.

I have a Vokaro kit car on a 1969 VW shortned chasis. The motor was rebuilt two years ago, but has not been used, as I havent finished the kit.

There was another kit at one time that either preceeded or succeeded teh Vokaro--the name of which eludes me at the moment.

I remember recieving a postcard from Vokaro in the mid to late 80's offering a killer price, I guess this was their death rattle. Something around $500 for the basic kit (certainly less than $1000). Always thought they were neat little things.

If you ever wish to sell your car please let me know. Am in San Fran so we're not too far from each other. Thanks.
