Looking to find a good VW person/shop to attend to the needs of my 73 thing. Anyone in Phoenix have suggestions?

Steve Hollingsworth's V.W. Performance
3865 N. 38th Avenue (at Indian School, next door to Arizona Transaxle)
Phoenix, AZ 85019

Steve is a well respected VW mechanic as I am a customer of his.
Even though I now have to make a 10-12 hour drive to Phoenix to have my engine serviced, it's worth the drive for me since Steve built my 1776 back in 1998 when his shop used to be here in San Jose, CA.
Most of the mechanicals I do myself, but headwork or the bottom-end work I have Steve do the repairs since he knows my motor well since he is the original builder.
Another STF member - Max Welton also gets his engine/transmission work done by Steve, and Max lives in Colorado.
Also Steve is a member of the Wolfsburg Registry VW Club (Phoenix, AZ):
