runnin rough

Post by bull250 »

I recently gave my 75 fuel injected super a tune up; changing plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condensor, and oil. I also changed a fuel line as it cracked when i was taking out my plugs. I also noticed that thick mayonaise goo in most of my hoses. Now after driving about 2 miles my car acts like its flooding out. It dies at stop lights unless i keep the rpms up, and it sputters upon acceleration. Any ideas on what it might be and how to flush my engine of that goo. Thanks for the help.

is it in the vacuum lines?? sounds like moisture mixed with some other crap ( oils, carbon etc.), you can clean those out with carb cleaner or replace the hoses. I would run some fuel injector cleaner through it too, maybe when you changed the fuel line you knocked some crud loose
