How to build a large tank?
A large fuel tank? Hmmmm how large? I would think that it would be easier to buy a standard racing fuel "boX' or get a fuel bladder (which would probably not be legal). Where do you want to put it in the car? Fiberglass will be a problem long term without an internal bladder. You need a racing fuel cell or a poly-tank. Check on the racing forum. I'm sure some of those guys had to do the exact thing. Ray

How to build a large tank?
Hi
I remember seeing them in DBHWs etc years ago.
When I used to do a lot of long distance driving in my bug I fitted a 20 litre jerry can on top of my stock tank, I had a solenoid switch to swap between the top and bottom tank. I used a Facet pump and when it ran out of fuel it really made a lot noise so I knew when to swap tanks.
