Do I need to run new fuel lines?

Post by mike75bug »

I have a 1975 Sedan. Should I need to run larger fuel lines? It currently has the stock fuel lines for the stock FI system.

I am planning ot install a 150hp Type IV engine which would later be turbo charged, plus a gas heater (if I can fit it) would be running of the stock fuel lines.

Are the stock big enough?
If not, how the heck to I run new lines through the tunnel without having to slice it open (btw, the body is currently off the pan)

Thanks...MIke

Oh yes..the stock fuel lines are plenty large enough. Remember that the fuel injection runs a loop through body, and through it pumps about three times the volume at about 5 times the pressure..that twin carbs require....change to a mechanical or low pressure electronic pump and you should be fine. The gas heater uses very little fuel at all and requires only a receptacle to draw from...as ith as its own metering pump. Ray
