It´s awfuly quiet in here so I thought share what´s going on in my head at the moment.

For my type IV the intake manifolds will get pretty complicated to manufacture. Is it totally out to use rubber tubing. Cut the tubing above the injectors, under the throttle body and use resiliant tubing to connect the two.

What do you think?

Are you having trouble finding stock manifolds for L-jet? Rubber will not do. All runner manifolds need to be rigid, or else they will change shape during operation from heat and vacume. The shape is everything. Not saying that it can't be improved upon with whats known today, but the shape, size, specific lengths, angles and heat transferability have all been taken into account to some degree. Stock intake runners should be easy to find. Ray

Ahhh....drop a line to Shad Laws...he is doing the same thing...and speculating on flexible hose also....you guys should get together. It may work...I'm just speculating that there may be too much shape change at unwanted times...would love to know if it can be worked out. Ray

I think I´ve seen his webpage. If you see this Shad please reply with your url. Lost all my bookmarks yesterday. One of the drawbacks of testing harware for a living.
