Type I case ? Help Identify Please

I have recently bought a used T-I engine for my main ride and the case is a little different. First, the engine looks like a regular T-I with an alternator and it has had a Weber carb fitted. But where the fuel pump belongs there is only a smoothed over area, no provision for a pump. One person said this is an F.I. case. There is no provision for injectors on the heads. Is there anything special I should know about this engineJ Thanks for the help
