pan gasket

Post by JordanK »

I used a healthy amount of 3M weatherstrip adhesive-comes in a red and white tube, most auto stores should have it. where the seal curves around the opening at the back of the tunnel it orginally had a few small tacks, those are optional but they do help to hold it in place, as the new seal won't be formed to fit the curve. i also found it necessary to make a few slits on the "inside" sides of the curve there to make it bend easier and lay flat. The 3M stuff dries in about 15 minutes, is slightly flexible and pretty strong. good stuff. and good luck.
