The hardest part is done. The front suspension is complete minus a few structural pieces, sway bar and hardware. Had to redo the upper forward arms after ditching the pushrod suspension. I couldn't keep everything in the same plane so I went with standard shock mounting. The steering rack came out great and all suspension components can be removed independently of one another even though it is tight in there. Now I am working on body clearance. Probably will suspend the body from the shop crane so i can up/down easily.
I am doing a JDM six speed into my Baja so I am going to use the STi Brembos that come with fir this car. Just have to figure out the rear mounting. The upper mounts have been reinforced since this pic.

Take extreme care on brake bias using the setup from a front engined car--- with a low cg and rearward weight bias, my rear braking force is ~same as front at max effort, yours should be same or need more rear bias. I actually still lock the fronts first even with 944T fronts hanging out back and barely bigger Wilwood FSLs out front. (possibly also due to the PF 14 pads out front and stock Pagids out back)

zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Thanks Pile! This Willwood setup has the bias bar between the front and rear master cylinders and i don't know if you are running that. Hopefully between the balance bar, the ability to choose my front and rear master cylinder bore sizes and the wide variety of Subaru brake options for the rear I can get it dialed in.
