Looking for my old dune buddies.

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Ken's car is a solid piece with hardly any miles on it. Hefty price tag but the car is basically new.

Mine has a plate and is "Street Legal" I have only races once for like 7 miles LOL. But I crew for a couple of 5-unlimiteds and that feeds my additition.

Mine has been together for almost 4 years now. I have 7000 miles on it. Been all over SoCal, AZ, Oregon, my home state of Washington and even did a 3 day stint in Colorado 2 years ago on my way to SoCal for a run with a bunch of these guys from here. I will go back to CO at some point. That place is amazing.

That just looks fantastic. I can see how you get your fix :) I'm getting set up to be able to travel. Getting a bigger truck on Tuesday, buggy will be here on Friday and I'm looking for a 20' enclosed trailer. Should be set then.

He just got it back. 091 full waddle guts/gears. All fresh. Not sure what the specs on the gears are. He had it prepped for the next race. Also has a spare engine that was just rebuilt. Gets it back Tuesday. I'll have a spare. He was going to install the new one for a fresh engine for the race but I'm going to set it aside for now.

Decided to freshen up the engine that's in it instead of putting the built one in. New water pump, fuel pressure regulator, oil and oil filter, plugs, o2 sensor, 30" tires and waiting on an alternator and belt. It was running stupid rich. Burn your eyes rich. Its running great now.
What is the aluminum thing behind the nose cone on the transaxle? I've never seen one.
It has 33 on now. They look great but just to big. Also have sand tires on the way. Lots and lots of things to do to it.
