Boost referenced stock fuel pump observation

I o-ringed my fuel pump pushrod when I added a turbo to my engine and I've had loads of trouble free miles so far.

But, today I was messing with things and decided to suck on the boost reference line for the fuel pump and got alot of fuel vapor. Does this mean my fuel pump is leaking? When I blow into it, it feels dead solid. Like blowing into a rigid pipe.

I wonder if this is why I'm limited to 13lbs (give or take) of boost.

Any suggestions on a quality replacement? I could switch to electric, maybe, but the same Brosol pump has worked for me for the last 17 years or so.

switch to electric they move more fuel ,,I use blue & Black (red even works good too ,for smaller turbo motors) Holley's
kind of noisy though sure turns heads at the car shows when u go to fire up the engine

Thanks. That put things into perspective. Got a bigger picture view now.

I took the car out for a full throttle run the other day and instead of just mashing it flat out, I crept up on full throttle. The fueling kept up without issue under those conditions.

Someone else (I think it was maybe Bugguy) suggested I use larger inlet valves on the kadrons and I think it really is just that. On hard acceleration, the bowls immediately drain but on a slow roll-on I have steady AFR past peak torque.

I'll get to it in a couple weeks. Right now I'm holding down the fort while my wife tries to hunt down an elk.

Elk?, I live in Atlanta,'Elk capital of Michigan' we have the biggest herd east of the mississippi,and they don't taste like 'sage',lol,,and Yes , larger inlet valve's 'May' help?
