Good day Guys,

Is anyone controlling their alternator with MS3X ecu.

Well the megasquirt would ensure that the alternator supplies the required amperage at all times for the sensors.

You have an ecu controlled alternator?

This feature is for fairly recent Mazdas and other cars that require it.
(its getting more common)
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Pile i was wondering if anyone had done it with a t1 alternator.

T1 alternators lack a logic control input.
I guess you could adapt a suitable regulator, bu Im thinking it would likely not be worth the effort.
