What do you have to do to use a standard coil for tach signal for fuel only Microsquirt?

Connect it to the coil.

By "standard Tach", do you men a tach that is driven by coil voltage or by a 12vdc square wave signal? What are you using to give the microsquirt an rpm signal, connect tach to that.

I know this is an old thread, but thought I would provide an answer... You can use a coil to generate a tach signal for fuel only by triggering off the coil negative.
