Forgive me for dragging an old thread out but I have a Magnaspark crank trigger kit and am getting ready to install it.

Does anyone have any experience with one yet? I am working out a custom spark table for it now and hope to install it soon.

The wiring diagram has a CHT input on it with a 150 ohm resistor in line. Any idea on what kind of sensor it is supposed to be? I will post the wiring diagram when I am not on an ipad

Thanks!

CB just added a little more info about the system which answered my questions: http://www.cbperformance.com/v/PDF/Crank%20Trigger.pdf

I know I am talking to myself at this point but I am trying to leave a trail for the next person with the same questions 8)

My kit is due to be delivered on thursday, any advice anyone ? Will be installed in a 71' bus, w/a 1641 dual kadron engine, overkill I know.
I've been getting overkill parts for since I got the bus, due to I plan on getting a performance engine down the road & would like to have all the good stuff beforehand :D

I don't own one. But have wired one up for a friend and someday will have another to setup. Both setups were used in conjunction with a Megasquirt ECU. It was all pretty straight forward. I'm not a huge fan of the aesthetics of the kit. The spinning saw blade on the front of the engine just doesnt do it for me. But it is nice that it bolts on to pretty much any pulley.
