Hi!
After running this setup with 40mm IDF's and later with CB's Quicktune EFI it became clear that:
-CB's Quicktune leaves a lot to be desired and isn't reliable(got stranded twice for no obvious reason

)
-The Cali conversion is nice when you run carbs but not when you add EFI...there is hardly any room.
So I took the parts I gathered over the years and got to work:
The outer ring is an og Riechert ring made for type 1's(the shroud rested on the two ears you see)-got it from the Hannover swapmeet,the fan I had laying on my attic for at least 25 years and the alternator was for free(Chinese-it's probably going to leave me stranded

)
I made the shrouds from moulds I took from an autocross engine 20 years ago but had to modify them to fit with this outer ring.
The pulley carrier is adjustable in height and is guided by the big protruding block casted on the fan ring.
And as you can see I am a wizard with CAD-design
The engine now runs on an EMU Classic EFI with wasted spark ignition.After a lot of head scratching it fired up yesterday.
Cheers,Arnoud
