i have 40mm CB throttle bodies and am having trouble getting a steady map signal
i have the vacuum line connected under each throttle plate.
each throttle body has 1 line off each barrel to a T piece then the 2 vacuum lines( 1 coming from each throttle body)
to another T piece then to the map sensor .
the map sensor sits on top of the right hand throttle body , so that vacuum line is very short
but the left throttle body line is long.
should i run a vacuum distributor block with equal length lines
itb's and map signal

Re: itb's and map signal
Equal length vacuum lines won't smooth the signal, you need to dampen the individual pulses, either by installing a canister in the system to which the two throttle bodies are connected then one line to the sensor, or try fitting a restriction in the single line to the map sensor

Ebay vacuum signal box. I have one on my turbo engine. No filter etc, just have all line to one box, and then signal from the box to whatever you need vacuum to.
