Need a refresher please:
I am swapping my MS2 from my old sandrail back to a baja bug. I have found a Brown wire that I had cut short, about the same length as the wires for the fuel pump, and 12V wires that were going to relays. According to the MS2 wire schematic, it shows a brown wire, however, it doesn't really list a function, am I reading that correctly that it runs through a 3 amp fuse and simply to a switched 12V? The wire itself has either lost any written labeling over the years or never had it- I say that as the MS2 diagram doesn't have it labeled either, or at least not that I can see. Without the wire being labeled, and my being used to Brown being ground, I figured I'd run for help first, rather than last. Thanks for the help!

Sorry If that is considered a dumb question, I'm finding a few different schematics that contradict each other. I'm starting to wonder if that was possibly my signal wire to the MSD. Well, I'll keep at it.STOICH wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 6:46 am Need a refresher please:

There are no dumb questions! In this case its just that some times additional understanding(s) needs to be clarified.
It looks to be a power point off the battery, through a couple of relays, that hooks into a distribution point but prior to that a tap for a hall sensor can be made... if necessary. That's my reading of the wiring diagram anyway... for what it is worth.

It does look like a 3 amp circuit breaker so as the old saying goes: if the foo $#its wear it
. Double check things first though.
