Well, I got the 71 Trans. up just in time for a labor day weekned vacation. The motor I built for that sucker runs real strong. 400+ highway miles at 65mph after a modest break in period, with some passing accel. up to 80mph. No problem with oil or head temps.
Who says you can't put an 8:1 1776 in a bus. I still have a few Kad bugs to work out but the dogs loved the room, and I enjoyed not having to set up a tent.
