Manx build

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Kind of ugly when it showed up, but got the one I was looking for cheap! L33, will probably end up Turbo and this baby came with a lot of good parts already... I will run it NA to start...

Well more an more parts all of the time, I guess this and work are my only hobby right now! Being single does have some advantages...
Crazy how big even the small shocks are on this build when you have them in hand...

Yeah the build has officially become "Expensive" up until the transaxle it was stuff here and there and kind of gathering parts as I found a deal. Not so much with this part! Just got a new enclosed trailer also that I am now in the process of fixing up a little... It will be my place to crash when thrashing around in the desert, along with being the garage for the car... I hope you guys still let me hang out someday even though it is quite a departure from the normal VW...

What 'cha going to do with this as the fire wall of a glass buggy isn't that structural. Will these go back to the cage by a connection via the fire wall?

Kind of what I am planning on but yours should be carrying more loads than I will have.
