Oil cooler seals problem
I have been having some problems with my 79 bus oil cooler seals. I just completed a rebuild of the motor and got it back together. when I start the motor, the oil gushes out of the seals. Could my cooler be clogged? I tried to replaced them and no luck, it still leaks. It's really pouring out too. Any help here guys...

i think the 79 would be the same as a 73.... so i f you put the seals in bacwards this will happen. i think( dont take my word for it) that the small end goes to the cooller. the big and small end of the seal are not very different so try to get a second oppinion on wich side is big and which side is small.

You can check your oil cooler by sticking your finger over one hole, tipping it, and seeing if oil comes out other, makes a nice mess anyway, Make sure your seals are correct,

Maybe there is a hole in the oil cooler itself?
I have not seen brand new seals leak before if properly installed. They are hard to mess up so I am *assuming* they are correct.
