Surf, I`ve seen a number of suppliers providing the entire front section from the roof to the bumper. You will most likely need a donated section as you say. Good Luck. Bob

Any one know where I may be able to find sheet metal for the bottom of the windshield on a bay window. I need the entire bottom ledge the windshield sits in. Have been looking for quite some time. Probably need a donor bus as I havent found any replacement panels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Aloha

my advise,GO TO YOUR LOCAL AUTO BODY REPAIR SHOP AND SPEND $20 ON A NEW GLASS SEAL AND LET THEM FIX IT FOR GOOD.no matter hoiw hard you try if you are not a body shop specialist and try it yourself you will end with a mayor rust trouble.belive me ,i tried with mine and after i took it to the repair shop it has been 5 years witout problems.good luck.

My '76 Westy had the same problem. My body man took angle iron and cut reliefs in it every 0.5" and formed it up with about a bazillion clamps and MIG welded it all up; then ground all the welds. Time consuming and expensive, but you could never tell now by looking at it and my windshield is now sealed up tight.
