It's done , just waiting for most of the engine bits to come back from balancing /machining etc . plan to have it in and tested/sorted out by the Warwick drags.

I’m reviving this thread as I realised I’ve been lurking for 8 years without any updates.
A lots happened since the last post. For the last 8 years I’ve been slowly working on the Manx as time allows and collecting T4 parts for a 2.6 turbo build. I’ve collected a machined case, DRP crank, JE pistons, Deutz cylinders, heads and the list goes on. But then I was offered a type 4 that had been built for an aeroplane. It’s a 2.6L originally built by FAT many years ago and refurbished by an Australian aircraft specialist in Aus before being put aside as a spare. It was originally a 2L hydraulic lifter engine (no engine numbers) that now has a 78mm crank, unknown T1 journal rods, unknown 103mm pistons, unknown mild cam grind but not stock, 2L heads with mild porting but stock size valves and twin spark.
The current owner made me an offer I couldn’t refuse so I purchased it and set about undoing all the aircraft specific mods to return it to road use. This included 3D printing then CNC machining a new drive pulley arrangement that worked with the prop bearing that had been machined into the case. Getting a custom flywheel made to suit the odd length crank and the Subarugears box. A fan housing and stand (collaboration with Wreck) and just generally trying to work out what I had.
Long story short I’ve finally got this engine running and am now going to start trying to dial it in. I’ve taken a stab in the dark with the carb settings because I cant find anyone running such a big engine on such a mild cam and heads so we will see how it goes.
The turbo build is still happening in the background.

Welcome back!!

So it has the huge prop bearing at the pulley end?
Considered that to run a blower at one point, the stock snout bearing isn't really up to it.
You have one of the few that can drive a blower reliably.
Know who made the crank? (or is that a sleeve that presses on the T4 crank?)
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
