Would anyone like to share their MS2 tune?
I just loaded Firmware 3.4.2 on my new MS2 daughter board v3.0 PCB. I'm upgrading from MS1.
I'm getting the firmware mismatch error as this is newly loaded FW with no base tune. I have read the mismatch is normal and NOT to attempt to create a profile on my own.
Does anyone have a tune for 36-1 VR sensor , wasted spark, direct coil drive, engine size 1956cc (76x90.5) N/A
Thanks,
Mark

Re: share MSQ tune MS2
That's the problem with sharing a tune.
Every build is specific to the engine it is connected to.
I have an MS-2 Ver. 3.0 board, direct fired, wasted spark and 36-1 crank fire but there are so many differences beyond that so it probably wouldn't work.
Engine size, turbo, crank sensor offset, injector size, intake setup and a host of other changes would make my tune useless for you.
If you get your VE table and a base ignition tune set up your engine should fire and you can go from there.
Most engines will run on most any tune and you can refine from there as long as the basic config is setup up somewhere close to injector size and engine CC's, plus timing is close enough at idle.

Re: share MSQ tune MS2
I think he "gets it", he just needs a loadable base tune to start with---it could be for a V8.
... as you never want to start with a clean slate, you end up with bogus numbers for settings you didn't know existed.
I set up a project archive and backed up my dash from MS2E, but the compressed archive is >7MB, which is way too large for the STF. Projects include logfiles and all saved tunes etc, may try to clean it up and recreate smaller.
PM me your email and I'll send.
I guarantee its wrong for your engine,.. the heads flow 180 CFM... its fully sequential with ls2 coils..
It has an adapter board and runs ~everything through an MS3X.
(Mario and I have kits for that)
1.8L T4, the wheel setup is wrong (has a 36-2 in distributor) wheel offset is wrong, the WBO2 is different, my intake/injectors are different and a type1 may not be able to deal with the AFR targets, but its still a better starting point than an LS1 in a Corvette base tune.
If you have registered TunerStudio you should be able to straighten out the VE table in 20 minutes given a few on ramp/loops on the freeway.
At least its NA.
Here's just the msq and custom dash zipped up, the lambda gauge needs the custom.ini tropped in the right dir

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

I'm still in the process of getting mine fully sorted but you're welcome to have a look at it if you PM your email to me.
Mine is 36-1, VR, wasted spark, direct ignition drive but is a standard 1600 TP.

Thanks for the response.
Pyle is correct looking for a base tune for the setup described. My setup is changing frequently right now. Changing constants ,injector size ,REQ FUEL,import my VE,Spark, target tables, I undrestand. I need to get used to looking at MS2 and working with it. A tune close to my set up is a start. Also, later on going turbo is in the plan.
In my shop things move slowiy, gotta set up early. I will PM for the tunes.
