My Chenowth Update - A Build/Mod Thread

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Got her home.Image

So, this will be my final post to this aged thread. I'll start a DD build thread once things start happening.

I'll do a proper for sale ad later, but going to sell my '02 titled and plated Chenowth Explorer chassis. Comes with solid alum floor pan, Wright rack, Wright combos and Wright 4 over front arms. Custom 2.25 10 over Chromo front beam (unused), built by Ken Martian (Martin Racing). Muddy's custom torsion conversion setup (installed, but never used), new unused 5/8 Chromo thru rods (complete. Cost $210 w/ receipt ). New Saco beam bushings. Wright combos have new bushings, pins, washers from McKenzie's (installed, never used). I'll even throw in the Chenowth 4 tube Chromo 3x3 rear arms (you'll have to get and install your own mount plates for micros or whatever). In Oregon, but heading to Baja in March. You pay for the u-haul flatbed trailer and I'll deliver along I-5. Hit me up if interested!

Like to see what price you put on all those old parts. I remember the 5/8ths thru rod discussion. :D

I might get around to some shots of the Chenowth and goods today, but there's a volleyball game or something like that on TV this afternoon. In the meantime, please enjoy some beam porn:
