Hey,

You do mean water to air injection?

Where do you inject it? Its just regualar water or something special?

I was a bit confused as you said u got backfires in the intercooler but then you didnt have an intercooler

My pulley arrived today and looking neat. Small diameter so blower pressure will be up up up. :-)

Got lots of work this week.

So the pulley got deliverd monday, wanted to mount it but had some issues getting the nut on the threading. Dont ask me why... just dont.

Now a can align the blower mount to the crank pulley.

And then get hold of a alloy welder to tack it at my place ON the engine and then again disassemble and weld fully.

Also shortend the intake manifold. Ready for welding.

So hopefully i can drive again within a week or 2. The wheather here sucks big time so no loss there.

Will take and post pics tommorow.

Yeah, thanks, i like it too.

Would want somekind of badge next to the blower pulley, on that round elevation.

Udo airbus had a porsche emblem there but since thats allready done and its not a porsche part....

Maybe some oldskool VW or something from the drag racing scene...

Hi, im 10min from ghent, if you want to see it you should come see. When its finished! ;-)

Btw, my welder comes next saturday, then there's only a few little jobs to do:

- cut the gaskets
- tighten all the bolts
- adjust the hole in the decklid and trim the leather cover, maybe enlarge it a bit so the whole carb is out of the driving wind
- get a new dyno run and re-tune the carb for the higher boost.

- DRIVE THE LIVING S**T OUT OF IT!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

My welder guy came this morning, everything is done, but needs some cleaning up at the corners, some filing and sanding.

Ive mocked up the setup and its a bit off to the left side. The alloy warped pretty bad....

Next week i want to get it finished and started. Wont be to hard.

1 day cleaning up the mount and manifold
1 day to get it sand blasted and maybe painted.
1/2 to cut my custom gaskets
2 days to get it all mounted

And then its weekend and playtime!

And my days are only 2-3 hours long.

After work ( i'm a truckdriver) and the wife and daughter there's not that much left...
