And is the gauge just a 3.5mm jack cable like an AUX cable?
i just brought one used like yours, the gen3 and excited to get it wired in

Been looking into the plx but i like the aem more.
I can get it here in belgium on ebay for about 200 $ incl shipping.
I love the way you can hook it up to a laptop and log the data and change dial settings.

From the controller to the gauge is 3.5 mm cable and the plug into the controller from the O2 sensor is a mini Molex.

so,
got the new credit card in the mail today.
finally got to order the aem wideband A/F & BOOST gauge and sensors!
will arrive at the end of next week.
then I only have to weld in the bung in the exhaust and hook up the vac tube for the boost line.
Can't wait!
does anyboday have pics of a mounting plate to fit the 52mm gauge around the steering colum?
don't want to cut a big hole in the dash. also can't fit it under the ashtray since the Volts - Oil temp - Oil pressure is already there...
thx!
greetings from Belgium!

Hey,
Got the aem boost afr gauge in today.
Allready found a spot to mount it, next to the sunvisor in the corner of the window.
Routed the wiring and boost line.
About that, can i screw the nipple for boost in the left intake-manifold or does it need to be as central or close to the amr500 as possible?

Everything past the butterfly/compressor will see the same boost/vac readings, it makes little difference where you put the line though some systems will have pulsing issues using a stock end casting's vac port. Best practice is always to take your reading from the plenum after the compressor, and if you still have pulsing issues put a fuel filter in line.

Got the gauge installed en the wires routed trough the car.
Just need to wire the gauge to -+ and dash lighting.
Brought my exhaust to the welder today. He will weld the bung in tommorow.
Drilled the hole in the end casting. Just need to get a little nipple to screw in there.
The pertronix flamethrower coil and rev limiter will arrive on monday.
Engine will be started probably somewhere end next week. Once running okay, straight to the dyno and tune till its tiptop.
The custom pulley, how to i start desingning something like that? Must be able to run a 5 rib belt. Anybody got some hints and tips?
Will post some more pics tommorow
