Last May at BOR I ran my first passes ever in my Turbo 1600dp street bug. heres the specs it had then:
Stock 1600cc DP:
Stock-
Crank
Rods
Pistons
Camshaft
Heads ( except single hi rev springs)
Ignition:
Locked 009 20* timing
Points
autozone coil
autozone plug wires
ngk stock plugs .025 gap
Turbo:
T25 from DSM 2g eclipse
Carb:
holley 350 2bbl
custom intake
custom exhaust
ebay wastegate 5 psi spring
On 10psi heres what it ran:
15.3@90mph
2.3 60 ft
NOW... This time i made some changes and added this only:
MSD BTM
MSD 2 step launch control
MSD Distributor
MSD wires
Snow Performance stg 2 water/meth injection
15 psi wastegate spring
Custom Kafer bar
Oil cooler
100 octane gas
and....18psi of boost
my last pass when I cranked the boost heres my results:
14.1@95mph
2.0 60ft
With better launch i knew i could have reached the 13.99 mark.
every run i improved in the following times:
15.4@90
14.9@92
14.5@92
14.7@93
then 14.1@95
I ran faster then my dial in time on last pass but didnt care when I saw my time. im making a few adjustments and will go back again to get that 13.xx

Impressive.
When you say stock, how much clutch and dowel pins are you using?
And how much of the car is "race" compared to "street" ? weight, creature comforts, bumpers
You turbo guys are lucky, every time I race my NA-DD times drops the later it gets

Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

Stage 1 KEP clutch with dual friction disc. stock 4 dowel pin crankshaft. I weighed it that day and its 1900lbs even with me in it. I weigh 180lbs. so 1720lb car. bumpers has just t bars in front and decklid removed for racing.
its a full interior car minus back seat and has 58 sqft of hushmat sound/thermal deadener. electrical is all stock and working condition, stock suspension, stock gas tank, has both the front seats installed, full glass inlcuding the windshield wiper. its a nice restored cruiser that i finished this year

That is very impressive, to do all that and have a complete car
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

Re: 1600cc Turbo 1/4 mile results
I've done 13.9 with 3 different ways with my stock 1600 (+turbo + efi)
with 1.1bar of boost and 150km/h topspeed - all worked great
with 1.6bar without first gear 160km/h
with 2 bar of boost but with broken pistons and no power at all with 4 th gear 150 km/h
