Class 11 Rebuild

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Its aluminum i had laying around. Its pretty thin like 18 gauge. Semi gloss black with can a foot or two away to give it a textured look. Not air tight.

Ok, the car is done. (finally). Just got done doing the front skid plate this weekend. Rear skid plate I picked up from a former class 11 racer for free, I extended it with another piece. Rear material is 6061 aluminum, and the front is 5052. Both 1/4 thick. Dash now has labels on it, I should do the back side also. Shocks are all charged up. Here are the pictures.

Hopefully go out and test it next weekend.

Good job! Makes we want a class 11, but with license plates.

Exactly. Daily driver... nice work. That is a pristine build.
