I totally understand about waiting on it. Getting the fan was one of the very last things I did before I started daily driving mine. I made the mistake of trying to take apart the original switch for the fan because it had shorted at the switch at some point and melted some of the plastic on the housing... it was a bad idea. I ended up buying a new to me switch after that experiment.

I use the fan a good bit to defog my front window. It works well if you put it on high and doesn't do much if you put it on low.

Well, nearly finished the struts - just have to paint and get ahold of the helper springs. Today I grabbed a freshly turned 5-lug 'Ghia rotor from a friend... after I get him the other one I guess I'll be looking at finding a pair of calipers to rebuild...There's a car show in May I think I want to drive this to.

I was down for the count with a terrible muscle pull in my neck, but my buddy dropped off the helper coils - couldn't resist, and installed them - they seem great. Found another H4 headlight and robbed a nice reproduction bucket from a part's car:

Well, I got tired of looking at the fan, so I decided something like this was in order... might even add a filter along the pick-up hose and the suction-side of the fan:

Looks like the RF fender was replaced once, the headlight wiring was botched, so I found a plug, made a pseudo conduit from body-to-bucket, and soldered the wiring where it had been butt-crimped poorly.

Hopefully I'll have the turned-brake rotor Monday and I can work on making it a roller again...
