150" dout it will pass NHRA tech, It's a record holding sand digger built by Jon Sorg, from what I'm told it still holds the record

Re: Updated My Digger motor
Whats your local track say? Are they just concerned that you stay under a certain speed?
My buddy has one sitting in a custum enclosed trailer. Last ran in the mid 80's. Doug Nash trans and 8 3/4 rear. Kinda a big undertaking. All one off hand built.

I made one pass and the carb linkage fell off
re-installed did it 3 more times then pressure plate issues
put it on the trailer
I'll pull the motor when I rest up
:mrgreen
I did beat the 38 Plymouth Gasser on that pass

Re: Updated My Digger motor
Thanks WR,,ended up being a rear main bearing/case and crank issues
flywheel was tight too
I was not the original builder but I'm guessing the fit of this bearing was off
It didn't spin but was loose in the case, and pounded the piss out of it
Your thoughts Guys??????? Thanks,

Case is not as bad as expected gonna get fixed with a line bore and thrust cut, crank is going to get turned too
I'm glad it can be saved
