Ho guys, I'm Robb living in the UK, I buy most of my dub stuff from suppliers in your USA
I have ordered some stuff from VWBUGWORLD 33672 S. Bevis Rd. Tracy ca. 95304
My last order went in on 24th October 2012, and have not recived anything yet, I have mailed them a few times with no reply
all I have left is to phone them but as you will agree it's not cheap phoning across the pond
All I'm asking is "has anybody heard of these guys and had dealings with them?"
Deliveries are much quicker than this, usually 4 weeks
I'm not asking for you to do anything just give me some advise about the company

Just for the heck of it I looked them up on the internet and got the phone number. No live person, but a recored message that the Google subscriber was not available and to leave a message. I'll follow this thread and if you have not gotten a good responce by next week I'll try to call them again during their published business hours and see if anyone is home.

Yikes, never heard of them. Google maps shows them out in the middle of nowhere and no store front. Seems sketchy.
Their catalog is the 2010 EMPI catalog.
Their site says they are GGCI Inc. DBA VWBUGWORLD.COM. Neither are registered as a CA business entity or with the Better Business Bureau.
There is a GGCI registered, but they sell window blinds.
Alot of their site is copied from JBugs, which is a real business.

I wouldn't give up just yet. The business owner may have issues going on and may not just be trying to rip you off... but if they have your money then it is what it is.

sorry Jim but I've been in vdubs a few years and all those guys I've dealt with
and all from over here (which aren't many) the USA has so much more to offer
and yes I agree some don't ship to UK
I think we need a guy over there to buy for us and make a small bonus, solong as he's not out of pocket
EMPI only go threw a third party over here then they double the cost plus profit n tax
makes our vdub stuff very expensive but there's not that many stores now
why do you think we go to the US/Australia/Brazil/Hongkong to buy a hole vehicle, cos it's so much cheaper and no rust
I very rarely buy from the UK, I think I should move to the US but I can't take all my cars there
O well, I do appreciated all the comments and help I'll just have to hunt for the parts again
By the way, I haven't had an FB reply on the company yet,

Sorry to hear the bad new. The off-road forum here has a list of vendors with ratings. Some of them are your regular VW parts dealer. Some of the vendors are active members here too. (Turboblue and Dansperformanceparts)

Well guys, an update from the beginning, BUGWORLD DOES NOT EXIST and that's OFFICIAL from ME
That means I have lost $126.73
It is an amount I really can't afford to loose as I'm sure you guys understand
Really, these guys need bad publicity loads of it
If it was over here we have forums that know them well and would really rip them off a strip
I'm here and those guys think there cleaver, they are shits/morons/cheats/ If I met one, regardless of his size, I would get my money one way or another
I'd take it from his wife/sister/mother/father I would get my money/parts and let him read this to, I will come to the USA one day and I will find him
