Im removing the front fender off of my 2003 mexibug. I have removed the bumper and the brackets and am ready to take the fender off however I can't figure out what to do about the turn signal which is integrated into the front bumper of my mexi. I have detached the turn signal from the bumper but I need to pass the signal plus the wire through the hole in the fender where the bumper bracket slides through. I don't see any kind of removable connector to just detach the turn signal from the wire which I could then just pass through the bumper grommet. Has anyone done this before?
