Re: Location
Thanks for the welcome. That was actually the reason i joined this forum. Someone from the Samba told me that the owner of the forum was from Bentonville or Rogers. I'm from Rogers, and was just trying to find some more people from around the area that are into ACVW's since there aren't very many around here. Mine is currently out of comission
until i get the whole front end rebuilt. I got hit in the front about 3 weeks ago and she totaled my 72 SB and somehow caused motor damage as well. Not a happy camper but what is done is done atleast i'm alright.
Mike!

Mike,
Welcome to STF! I'm in Bentonville. There are several other members and enthusiasts around. There are 2 vw clubs in NW Arkansas, as well. The annual show in Eureka Springs attracts about 250 or 300 air coolers every year. A must see.
I'll pm my phone number expecting you to give me a call so we can hook up. I'd like to see your car and you can see my collection of non-running junk.

Re: Location
What clubs are around i have been wanting to join one but from the lack of VW's i see around i didn't think we had any. The bug is out of commission currently but hopefully she will be back on the road again here in the near future. I actually am planning on going to the Eureka Springs annual show this year. If i can get the bug back up and running before it which it should be since its not till the end of august maybe we can make a convoy. I'm pretty busy this week but maybe sometime next week we can meet up and shoot the breeze and i would love to check out your collection. I'm young just 20 years old so i have a lot to learn.doc wrote:Mike,
