I don't think I was thinking clearly earlier when I posted. I will get my tuning laptop from the factory tomorrow and let you know what I can. Sorry for the confusion....
DOH... I thought I had read that your injectors were paired 1/4 and 2/3 in some other thread. No worries.

Your EDIS on the other hand should be paired 1/3 2/4 otherwise it wouldn't work.

LOL... I sure wish I knew why things were working for some and not others. Can you comment on your number of squirts and staging?

The way I see it is, there are only three options:

1/4 and 2/3 (turd on my engine)

1/3 and 2/4 (this is how I started, and it worked fine)

1/2 and 3/4 (untested)

Don't even know what I was thinking when I posted that. You are correct and I need to stop thinking....

We'll, I don't know what the deal is, but 1/3 and 2/4 works best on my engine.

For good measure I tried the 1/2 and 3/4 pairing, and got the same results as 1/4 and 2/3, Overall poor drive-ability. Just by changing back to the 1/3 and 2/4 the engine immediately runs smoother. Guess I'm gonna leave it that way.

Moral of the story? Dunno.. still doesn't make sense, but I'll keep the engine happy.

I'm running 1/4 2/3 2 squirts alternating. I'm curious why yours doesn't run good that way also when it has been proven by many. This whole thread is very interesting. I'm like you.....I always want to know why

I dunno... There seems to be two sucessful combo's most mentioned, 1/4 and 2/3 or 1/2 and 3/4. I seem to be the odd guy out with my 1/3 2/4 pairing on 2 squirts/alternating. It doesn't make sense, but its what is working.

FWIW.. if you choose simultaneous injections, pairing is moot as both channels will be firing at the same time.

Just a thought make sure you don't have any clogged injectors.

They are brand new, I would hope not.

FWIW, if they were though, it wouldn't run nearly as good paired the way they are currently.

I haven't tried simultaneous cause I'm worried my idle PW would be too small.

My current idle PW is only 2.8 w/ my 60# injectors. How small is too small?

It SHOULD run better 1/3-2/4.

The timing variation of std batch and the peculiarities of manifold designs are the only reasons I can think of that 1/2-3/4 works for some.

Note that anyone running MS2-extra 3.xx can run semi-sequential so your injection events are evenly timed, and I strongly recommend doing so, with 1/3-2/4 pairs.

Timed MAP sampling is also an excellent feature, grab a fast sample at a specified crank angle/small # of degrees when things are quiet electrically.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
