Frenched headlights?

Post by 71superAS »

Hi all,

I have seen plenty of kits like this: http://www.andysautosport.com/volkswage ... 00487.html

Does anyone have any experience doing this with their Beetles? Any pictures? I'm curious to see how it would come out.

What does this do to the headlights, exactly. I know what frenched fender are, but not headlights.

I did a set. Since it was a Cal look I tilted out the stock metal rings a bit so I could eliminate the bump below the bottom of the head light. I made the round bucket removeable so I could bolt the headlight in from inside the wheel well.

Found a good, close-up example. I don't know if I like it for my car, but it is definitely interesting. I think I am steering more toward a resto-custom look.
