I built a 4 into 1 exhaust for my dwarf car using an Extreme racing muffler. It is very light and has a very nice tone for the Suzuki GXSR 1000 engine. It may be a little more than you want to spend.www.extrememufflers.com/

My thoughts exactly!!

Thanks for the ideas, Mitch. I'm trying to figure out how you bent and tweaked all that pipe. Looks like yuo just take a section cut it, and weld on another section. Wouldn't be too bad, just time consuming, I guess.

Thanks for the comment.

I got a plan for the exhaust, I have enough tubing to do it, but I need one more of the right hand subaru flanges. Went to the junkyard and they didn't have one, they've been crushing cars like crazy with the price of steel nowadays. I'm going to go behind the oil pan, over to the other side, join the two right near the left header, go forward, up, then back to a muffler right next to the valve cover, similar to where the left hand glass pack is now. So it looks like I'll have to cut and turn the left hand header I have. That will wait a few weeks, I need the bug this weekend.

Also got the windshield wipers going. I recieved the 12volt armature from WW, but there seems to be a missing bushing on the inside of it. Waiting to hear from them. In the meantime, I just wired up a 50 watt bulb in series and the 6v motor works great!

AND... Let there be HEAT!!

Mostly just looking for defrost on those chilly high-desert mornings... It's from a military jeep (suposedly), it's 24 volts, but work fine on 12.

Needs some shag headliner. water bed?

Sweet heater! Almost worth going liquid cooled for the ease of ducting heat.

Not very. Certainly not as loud as the car exhaust or the fuel pump for that matter, but not any louder than a normal heater in a car.

Hopefully the sounds of bouncing mouse poop in the heater channels will go away after a while.

If you get the 2.5" ORANGE dangle shag it will attenuate the 3250 RPM 500 Hz drone. I have studied this.

Do you have any data to support that?

Thightened up the steering box today, put a urethane bushing on the steering shaft, streightened out my steering wheel. It's feel so much better now.

Drove it around with the back seat set in there. Seems much quieter already.

HEATER--- I'm not all that impressed with the heater. Seems like it's not blowing out super hot air. and the coolant comming out is super hot. Maybe it just takes a while to heat up the heater channels or something. It did keep me warm this morning, though. I'm still undecided.
