Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Offer him $3500 bucks and see if he bites.
It's tough to watch a man sell his toy. It's cool that your wife still likes to play out in the dirt. Go the path of least resistance. Hope it works out for you. The link in your CL ad doesn't work. I really wanted to check out the history on your baja. You should have started a build thread here on STF.

Should work now.
p.s. Haven't seen your CL ad for your Cherokee....might get a bite...or two...
What's the old saying? Everything is for sale....for a price.

Decided to keep it until December. Just threw a radiator in it. Rear main is next. 9 month to go.

I have a TTR225 I'm looking to get rid of if you're interested.

How about a partial trade Lotrat Cherokee for Copper Baja?
I'd bet most the difference could be made up with the sale of a "lady bug"
...just sayin....
Baja5 was right...

Two fully functional vehicles for the CopperBaja Baja? Hmmm... Tempting, but I need two fully functional vehicles right now. Besides, there's a sweet yellow manx up the road a bit that I got my eye on. Copper's baja is filled with sweat and is sticky anyway. Yuck. Notice how he left that out of his ad?

anyone that drives naked should have to speak up before the smokers...

What the estimated fart count in a 1968 VW? Nasty.

2003 seats. Still nasty, if you OCD about it but exponentially less than a '68.
