While we're on the topic... could you conceivably run a duel carb/TBI setup on a single port, though setting them up criss-crossing the bay?

I mean, the carburetor/TBI over the 1-3 bank feeds the 2-4 cylinders and the carb/TBI over the 2-4 head feeds cylinders 1-3, for a longer runner and increased velocity for more bottom end?

Thinking of this on something like a 1300 or 1500 single port, for an in-city cruiser. Low RPM, lots of stop-go, and rarely on the highway.
