Looks great. I see you swapped out the front arms. Looks like it sitting level. Great attention to detail all around. Does it drive yet?

Hey Big Dave - I think you'd need Gonads bigger than mine to cross the pond is something this size - But a guy called Ben carlin did cross back in the 50's useing a WW2 ford GPA !
Lotrat, It kinda runs - but badly on three cylinders
- It wasn't running when I bought it - never bothered me because I figured if the bodywork was a success then I could always replace the engine.
That ios the next job - get it to work nice.
thanks for the nice comments boys !

If you stopped right there you'd still have something to be very, very proud of. Getting it purring and fully operational will just be the cake's icing!!

LOL , I wasn't talking about anything big, I really meant a pond as a small body of water. I'd love to see it motor it's way across and drive out the other sideMr Slug wrote:Hey Big Dave - I think you'd need Gonads bigger than mine to cross the pond is something this size - But a guy called Ben carlin did cross back in the 50's useing a WW2 ford GPA !

First of all, I need to get it to run and drive well - fix all the annoying oil leaks etc. A little more wireing to complete.
Then, when I am hasppy that it is a reasonable car - I will finish the little jobs to make it a boat - like a bilge pump etc, and then off to the high seas !
Thanks again for the nice comments guys,

often the cars aren't even in his possession, he merely acts as a "broker" for a cut of the sale.
