Really off road - like, in water !

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Incredible! Amazing dedication to a project and the outcome is just plain Awesome! And to think, most people that start kit cars never finish them because they lose interest while the parts are supplied with the kit. Can't imagine hand building and fabricating the whole car, and I love fabricating panels and parts. This is a whole different level of dedication. Enjoy it because you earned it.

give a man a watch and he'll allways know what time it is. give him two and he can never be sure again.

This thread was enough to inspire me to hammer-form many of the parts for my split bus - but after seeing his fabrication skills, my fabrication feels like viewing the Sistine Chapel's ceilings and then trying to imitate it with finger paint.

well all that bricklaying really prepared him for this kind of work, you can't expect to be as good.

I'm going to have to reread this thread all over again. Not because I forgot anything but just so at the end I can scream 'I'M NOT WORTHY!!'

Completely amazing skills.
