Torsion bar support

For those who have a full Bug body or a Baja body on a VW pan and still use the bolt that goes into the torsion bars shock perch area you have some additional support fo the end of the torsion tube which can help with the problem of the lower truss end from breaking. That connection can transmit loading from the end of the torsion tube up into the body so the roof can spread the loading around the unibody itself. But those of us who have glass buggies or Bugs that have the top cut off don't have that luxury so according to Hubbard's Baja Bug and Buggies a plate was to be added between the underside of the torsion tube to the pan for the additional support. It would be better to include a contact to the cage from this location if possible.

I don't know why but this jumped into my mind the other day.
