Drill press tool

I saw this on sale on Craig's List locally for $50. I am passing on the idea for anyone needing something like this that is removable to be added when needed. It looks to be pretty easy to build with maybe the exception of the rollers but they do look a lot like paint rollers (??? ).

You could put ends on a tube then bore a hole in each for the axle or... a round tube may not even be necessary as there is the option of square tubes just to sit things on. With the adjustable height and space distance it plus height adjustment things could be a lot easier. I just went through fighting drilling holes in something long, hence awkward.

I already have one of that style but only used it on my table saw or places like that (I just gave the table saw and accoutrements' to one of my step-granddaughter's husband as he is doing a major remodel their house).

Try using one on a floor model drill press especially when you can raise or lower the platen well above or well below the level of a cabinet or table saw. When doing long sections of material and having to move the material from one end to the other especially back and forth it can get kind of dicey or even weird at time; having some thing like this might not be a bad idea. The other one's feet got in the way of the drill presses' base and I couldn't get close enough at the time.

Not saying that this idea is the best way... just one way that makes sense, at least to me anyway  .
