There's no real way of knowing unless you pull a cylinder head off and check the bore of the cylinder and check the swept volume of the piston.
I've pulled AD code cases apart (1600cc) and found 77mm cylinders making the engine a 1300cc.
I've also pulled apart a friends AB code engine and found a wasserboxer crank had been fitted.
