Ugh. Put the ecu back in this morning. Turned the key on and the fuel pump fired right up. I decided to turn it back on because i couldn't quite remember when i was having trouble a few days ago, which lights were supposed to come on inside the ecu. It was dead the second time. Nothing on at all. Must have blown another 12v fuse on the ecu. Not sure what's happening. I didn't even mess with anything! I just painted it! Guess i will start checking everything and see if i have a short to ground somewhere.

Thanks. My car had a Ford starter relay on it (was there when i got it). I took it off when i did the paint work because everything is new and i didn't feel it was needed.
I think i have something wrong there because when i unhook the wire from the alternator to the starter, i have no power to the car at all.

Interesting. Looking at a wiring diagram, it appears it does have to go from the battery, to the starter, to the alternator, and then up to the front.

Balls. After some checking, i have continuity between the pos and neg on the fuel pump wires unplugged from the harness.

Fantastic, just don't plan any dyno time and you will be Golden.
Good quality is getting harder and harder to find.

I doubt i would even bother with this set up. It's less than ideal all over. I will be happy if it goes and stops!

Sometimes the less than ideal builds seem to outproform the high $ exotic builds, don't sell yourself short. I have seen people spend thousands of $'s on a car that made less usable power than an inexpensive build.
Just was trying to keep the dyno gremlins away.
Good Luck
