Stuff you have made at home

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Here's my rendition of the "Volksessrie"....

A total knock off of rear spinnie wheel device. But for entirely different reasons...Great for painting. :D

This has been posted on this site before but it is my version of a rotisserie. I used two of HF's inexpensive engine stands to make it. A Vee cut on the vertical post, clamp them together using a close fit tube then weld the cut. Easy and quick. The frame head easily bolts to the stand, the transaxle mounts will need an adapter made.

That pan has been sitting on it for several years now and no damage.

ellobo, nice looking pan mods.

My opinion is worth slightly less than what you paid for it.

Ok who is next?
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

I generally just make a mess that takes longer to clean up than the job I was trying to make easier normally takes.....

Here are a few of my projects.

Leatherneck- Notice the mirror on the rhino. They are very easy to make. I use hose clamps to hold it on. Then if you hit anything it will fold back instead of breaking.
