Getting ready to install a EJ25 engine in my ghia.
Engine go in from below or above?

It goes in literally just like a VW engine, from below.

Swapped Ghias are freaking sweet! You got a build thread or page anywhere?

My rear bumper hides the fact I have no rear apron. I take off the bumper and exhaust then slide it straight out with the car on the ground. Wouldn't be too hard to make the apron removable if you wanted to keep the look.

Engine is in finally. Yeah!
Went to install the SmallCar Performance header
and find it conflicts with the rear engine mount. When I bought the header I did not realize that it was designed
for a Vanagon installation! Ugh
Anyone deal with this issue before? I’m about ready to
start cutting . Or maybe a different type 1 trans mount
would give me more room

Throttle body is right next to the firewall and 90 degree

Did I ask this before?
Route coolant lines along the outside of the floor pan or down the centerline on a KG??
